520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | This article circumscribes the notion of Freud’s legacy with the aim of outlining the different fates of the reception of psychoanalytic discourse in Brazil. In so doing, we map the figures of heir and affiliate as antagonistic modes that raise the question of inventiveness in the treatment of psychoanalytic discourse in the country. Our hypothesis is that raciality inevitably permeates the presence of psychoanalysis in Brazil. However, the thematization of race leads Brazilian psychoanalysts to a dead end, since the Afro-Indigenous presence effectively implies a break with the idealization that, by submission, remains tied to the European tradition. |

Summary, etc. |
