| Summary, etc. | In this article, the analytical perspective is that of the theory of social representations (sr). This theory, developed in 1961, is the subject of international congresses held every two years, such as the one to be held at the university of Brest in July 2025. Seven criteria for analyzing migrant sr will be discussed: the ternary character of sr theory; its specificity as a psychosocial compromise; the primacy of the collective matrix of social construction of reality, although individual opinions also count; the structuralist apprehension of socio-cognitive positions; the integration of the cognitive polyphasia hypothesis; its operationalization in two studies on the silent zones of Gypsy and North African sr. In conclusion, we propose to consider the sr of migrants emanating from ordinary citizens as much as from the immigrants themselves, in order to better succeed in their concrete, interactionally operated and territorialized accompaniment. |

| Summary, etc. | Dans cet article, la perspective d’analyse est celle de la théorie des représentations sociales (rs). Cette théorie, élaborée en 1961, fait l’objet de congrès internationaux, à un rythme biannuel, comme celui de l’université de Brest en juillet 2025. Sept critères d’analyse des rs des migrants seront abordés : le caractère ternaire de la théorie des rs ; sa spécificité de compromis psychosocial ; la primauté de la matrice collective de construction sociale de la réalité, bien que les avis individuels comptent aussi ; l’appréhension structuraliste des positions sociocognitives ; l’intégration de l’hypothèse de la polyphasie cognitive ; son opérationnalisation dans deux études sur les zones muettes des rs des Gitans et des Maghrébins. En conclusion, on proposera de tenir compte des rs des migrants émanant de citoyens ordinaires autant que des immigrés eux-mêmes afin de mieux réussir leur accompagnement concret, interactionnellement opéré et territorialisé. |
