| Summary, etc. | Examining the dynamics of rural non-farm enterprises (RNFEs) in Ethiopia, we found that participation in RNFEs—and transitions into and out of high-return RNFEs—are more frequent among young households than among older ones. Women’s participation in rural non-farm entrepreneurship is common, but they tend to be concentrated in lower-paying RNFEs. JEL Codes: L250; L260. |
