Summary, etc. | Today's socio-economic pressures mean that universities are increasingly called upon to respond to the needs of society. However, the ways in which the traditional university can be transformed into an entrepreneurial university, particularly in a less developed country, remain under-explored. The aim of this article is to examine the perceived entrepreneurial orientation of a university context in search of transformation. To achieve this, we conducted an exploratory qualitative study with a sample of 28 key informants to assess their perceptions and identify strategic choices for the organisation's evolution. The results show that the participants have a positive perception of entrepreneurship and the effects it can have on the transformation of the university. On the other hand, certain dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation in the university context were deemed more relevant by the study (innovation, autonomy, competitiveness and proactivity). However, the risk-taking dimension seems to be less relevant in implementing this change. |

Summary, etc. | Aujourd'hui, les universités, du fait des pressions socio-économiques, sont invitées à répondre de plus en plus aux besoins de la société. Cependant, les voies de changement de l'université classique en université entrepreneuriale, particulièrement dans un pays moins développé, demeurent encore sous-explorées. Cet article se donne pour objectif d'étudier les dimensions perçues de l'orientation entrepreneuriale dans un contexte universitaire en quête de transformation. Pour y parvenir, nous avons mené une étude qualitative exploratoire auprès d'un échantillon de 28 personnes-ressources afin d'apprécier leurs perceptions et de cerner des choix stratégiques pour l'évolution de l'organisation. Les résultats montrent que les participants ont une perception positive de cette dernière et des effets qu'elle peut avoir sur la transformation de l'université, d'une part. D'autre part, certaines dimensions de l'orientation entrepreneuriale dans le contexte universitaire ont été jugées plus pertinentes par l'étude (l'innovation, l'autonomie, la compétitivité et la proactivité). Cependant, la dimension prise de risque semble être moins pertinente dans la mise en œuvre de ce changement. |
