Even if they involve varying degrees of severity that are assessed differently by society and the magistrate, they nevertheless have consequences that can sometimes be fatal for the person receiving them. There is a true semantics of insults that deserves some illustrations, which call upon history, culture, and the emotions of every individual. It is important to briefly recall what the law says. Furthermore, social work is not exempt from the mechanisms of discriminatory language for reasons that will be the subject of explanatory hypotheses. |

| Summary, etc. | L’injure, l’insulte, sont des composantes des interactions humaines. Même si elle incluait des degrés de gravité diversement appréciés par le corps sociétal et le magistrat, elles sont, malgré tout, pourvoyeuse de conséquences parfois fatales dans la vie de celle ou de celui qui en est le récipiendaire. Il existe une véritable sémantique de l’injure méritant quelques illustrations qui interpellent l’histoire, la culture, les affects de tout un chacun. Il importe de rappeler brièvement ce que dit la loi. Par ailleurs, le travail social n’échappe pas aux mécanismes des langages discriminants pour des raisons qui feront l’objet d’hypothèses explicatives. |
