| Summary, etc. | Over the last decades, it has been demonstrated that opioid use disorder (OUD) results from the combined effects of many factors, including those of a psychosocial and neurobiological nature. This plurality is embodied in a comprehensive theoretical framework: the biopsychosocial model of addiction. While the impact of each factor on the severity of OUD has been well identified, their combined effect is unknown. In this context, the BEBOP project is based on a collaboration between psychiatrists, sociologists, and neuroepigeneticists. The primary objective is to characterize the severity of the psychosocial factors of OUD in a cohort of patients, with the aim of covering the full spectrum of the disorder’s severity. The secondary objectives are, first, to establish a correlation between the level of psychosocial severity and epigenetic biomarkers in order to understand the determinants of OUD severity, and, second, to determine whether epigenetic biomarkers can be predictive of OUD outcomes. Ultimately, the results of the BEBOP project will make it possible to tailor OUD treatment based on its severity. |

| Summary, etc. | Au cours des dernières décennies, il a été montré que le trouble de l’usage d’opioïdes (TUO) résultait des effets combinés de nombreux facteurs, notamment psychosociaux et neurobiologiques. Cette pluralité s’incarne dans un cadre théorique global : le modèle biopsychosocial de l’addiction. Si l’impact de chaque facteur sur la sévérité du TUO a été bien identifié, leur action combinée n’est pas connue. Dans ce contexte, le projet multidisciplinaire BEBOP s’appuie sur une collaboration entre psychiatres, sociologues et neuro-épigénéticiens. Son objectif principal est de caractériser la sévérité des facteurs psychiatriques et sociaux du TUO dans une cohorte de patients, dans le but de couvrir tout le spectre de la sévérité du trouble. Les objectifs secondaires sont, premièrement, d’établir une corrélation entre le niveau de sévérité psychosociale et les biomarqueurs épigénétiques pour comprendre les déterminants de la sévérité du TUO, et, deuxièmement, de déterminer si les biomarqueurs épigénétiques peuvent être prédicteurs de l’évolution de la sévérité du TUO. In fine, les résultats de BEBOP permettront d’adapter la prise en charge en fonction de la sévérité du trouble. Ils permettront également de poursuivre l’évaluation des Haltes Soins Addictions en France. |
