This article observes the conflicts that arise from practicing Islam at work to understand why Muslims turn to entrepreneurship and the way in which this entrepreneurial work reconciles religious, professional, family, and personal life—or even makes one of these spheres the very focus of entrepreneurial activity. |

| Summary, etc. | L’entrepreneuriat dans une perspective islamique se distingue par le respect des prescriptions islamiques au regard de la conduite des affaires de l’entreprise, des pratiques professionnelles comme des produits et des services commercialisés, mais aussi de l’organisation du travail et des temps consacrés à chaque activité. Cet article observe les conflits qui émergent avec la pratique de l’islam au travail pour comprendre les raisons pour lesquelles des musulman·es s’orientent vers l’entrepreneuriat et la manière dont le travail entrepreneurial concilie vie religieuse, professionnelle, familiale et personnelle, voire permet de faire d’un des ordres de grandeurs de ces domaines l’objet même du travail entrepreneurial. |
