| Summary, etc. | From the starting point that PE might allow students to “enter into experience”, two distinct ways (horizontal and vertical) of entering in experience are depicted, what patterns student’s curriculum. Pedagogy aims at drive student’s sensitivity towards limit experiences, so that existential strength could be experienced. While planning a curriculum of “confrontations with” settings, PE teacher enable the student to enact a new relationship to the world, a new way of inhabiting his body. Sitting between Varela phenomenology, Rosa sociology and existential philosophy of Jaspers, we conclude that resonance and its related Being illumination through limit experiences could support PE as a space of “confrontation with”. While our proposal is drawing an existential PE, it thus calls for anchoring the research in the Subject theory, as much as in Activity theory. |

| Summary, etc. | En partant d’une EPS dont l’enjeu est de « faire entrer en expérience » les élèves, deux directions (horizontale et verticale) d’entrée en expérience structurent les transformations des élèves. La logique pédagogique vise à mettre la sensibilité de l’élève à l’épreuve de situations-limites, encourageant son entrée en résonance existentielle. En organisant des « confrontations à », l’enseignant d’EPS favorise un déplacement du rapport au monde que le sujet énacte, une dérive de la façon qu’il a d’habiter son corps. Dans une telle optique, les transformations-clefs de l’élève sont envisagées autrement qu’à l’aune d’apprentissage de techniques corporelles, de compétences ou autres savoir-faire. Entre la phénoménologie de Varela, la sociologie de Rosa et la philosophie existentielle de Jaspers, nous proposons que résonance et éclairement de l’Être en situation-limite puissent constituer les piliers d’une EPS des « confrontations à ». Puisque notre proposition dessine une EPS existentielle, elle invite à une prise en compte de l’élève à l’aune de théories du Sujet au moins autant que de celles de l’Activité. |
