| Summary, etc. | This article addresses the phenomenon of denunciation of supposedly existing « trials by media » in the context of sexual violence allegations, and examines the investigative methods used by the journalists who report the stories. To this end, the analysis draws on a corpus of 202 articles from the French national press was analysed, along with approximately ten interviews with journalists who investigated and reported on one or more allegations. It highlights the ongoing struggle to establish a legitimate definition of violence, between an approach that confines it to private interpersonal situations and a systemic approach that justifies its public disclosure. |

| Summary, etc. | Este artículo confronta la denuncia de un «tribunal mediático» en el contexto de las acusaciones por violencia sexual con los métodos de investigación de los periodistas que están detrás de las revelaciones. Se analizó un corpus de 202 artículos de la prensa nacional francesa, así como una decena de entrevistas con periodistas que habían investigado y publicado sobre una o varias de las acusaciones. Destaca la lucha por una definición legítima de la violencia, entre un enfoque que la relega a situaciones interpersonales privadas y un enfoque sistémico que justifica su publicidad. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article confronte la dénonciation d’un « tribunal médiatique » en contexte d’accusations pour violences sexistes et sexuelles à la méthode d’investigation des journalistes à l’origine des révélations. Pour ce faire, un corpus de 202 articles de la presse nationale française a été analysé, ainsi qu’une dizaine d’entretiens menés auprès de journalistes ayant enquêté et publié sur une ou plusieurs accusations. Il met ainsi en exergue la lutte pour une définition légitime des violences, entre une approche les reléguant à des situations interpersonnelles d’ordre privé, et une approche systémique justifiant leur publicisation. |
