Summary, etc. ‪Several ancient inscriptions from Vaison-la-Romaine have been the subject of precise photogrammetric surveys to be able to observe the traces of tools and carry out a comparative study. Within the framework of this presentation, we are going to return in detail to two inscriptions discovered in 1912 in the hyposcaenia of the ancient theater of Vasio Vocontorium: the inscription in honor of Claude deified (ILGN 205a) and the inscription in honor of Britannicus César (CAG, 84/1, p. 237, no 250). This project is based on the study of all traces of tools, wear, or other alterations. Digital facsimiles from photogrammetry offer new possibilities for this study. It is possible to intervene on the models in order to produce surface analyses, to visualize certain details and to obtain better renderings. These observations not only provide information on the work of the craftsmen and on the methods of preparation, but also testify to all the stages of the “life” of the epigraphic supports, before and after the engraving of the texts. This study made it possible to establish that the two inscriptions were made by the same craftsman. This demonstration also feeds the debates on the dating of the corpus and its integration within the theater.‪
