It begins by tracing the emergence of an anti-pornography coalition situated at the intersection of journalism, politics, and civil society, in the wake of the #MeToo movement. The article then analyzes the rhetorical and narrative strategies of generalization that portray pornography as a whole as intrinsically violent. Finally, it demonstrates how the institutionalization of this discourse marginalizes the voices of sex workers and obscures contributions from legal and social science research on regulation issues. |

A continuación, examina los procesos retóricos y narrativos de generalización mediante los cuales los actos de violencia se presentan como inherentes a la pornografía en su conjunto. | Summary, etc. | Cet article interroge la manière dont les institutions en charge du débat public endossent la dénonciation féministe prohibitionniste de la pornographie en tant que violence sexiste à éradiquer. Il retrace d’abord la constitution d’une coalition antipornographie dans le sillage de MeToo au croisement des espaces journalistiques, politiques et de la société civile. Il interroge ensuite les procédés rhétoriques et narratifs de montée en généralité par lesquels des faits de violences sont présentés comme inhérents à la pornographie dans son ensemble. Il montre enfin comment l’institutionnalisation de cette dénonciation empêche l’écoute des travailleurs·euses du sexe et des recherches en droit et sciences sociales sur les enjeux de régulation. |
