In France, as in the majority of European countries, there is a national emergency number for missing children, 116 000, which helps families to manage this crisis situation and in particular to prepare the child’s return in order to prevent recurrences. |

| Summary, etc. | La fugue est une conduite observée essentiellement à l’adolescence où il s’agit de se détacher des figures parentales. S’il s’agit souvent d’un passage à l’acte s’inscrivant dans une recherche d’autonomie, elle ne doit pas être banalisée et négligée, car comme la conduite suicidaire, elle est aussi un appel au secours. De plus, elle constitue une situation de mise en danger du mineur avec des risques comme la délinquance et/ou la prostitution, en particulier chez les adolescents qui ont connu les difficultés d’individuation de la première enfance. Il existe en France comme dans la majorité des pays européens, un numéro d’appel d’urgence national concernant les disparitions d’enfants, le 116 000, qui aide les familles à gérer cette situation de crise et en particulier à préparer le retour de l’enfant afin de prévenir les réitérations. |
