| Summary, etc. | RésuméCertains théoriciens et professionnels du cinéma et de l’audiovisuel sont encore persuadés qu’ils peuvent imposer un sens à tous les spectateurs, qu’ils maîtrisent leurs émotions, leurs sentiments, leur compréhension grâce à des procédés narratifs ou techniques tels que des mouvements de caméra, des échelles de plan, des liaisons, etc. Cet article présente les résultats d’une étude expérimentale réalisée pour confronter le vécu des spectateurs avec les théories du cinéma et les codes filmiques. En plus de valider le processus de co-construction d’une histoire, l’auteur donne des conseils pour faciliter la compréhension mutuelle et des outils éthiques pour la favoriser tels que les pré-tests et la grille sémio-contextuelle de création filmique. |

| Summary, etc. | Some theoricians and professionals of the movie and audiovisual industry are still convinced that they can impose a meaning to all spectators. They also believe that they are able to control their emotions, feelings and understanding by using narrative or other techniques such as camera movements, distance, fades, etc. The findings of an experimental study opposing spectators’ experiences with cinema and film code theories are presented in this article. In addition to validating the co-construction story-building process, the author offers advice and ethical tools which ensure mutual understanding, such as pre-tests and a film creation semio-contextual grid. |
