Summary, etc. The clinical examination—which includes patient observation, the medical interview and history-taking, and the physical examination—remains fundamental for gathering valuable medical information, making a diagnosis, and planning therapeutic management. This is also the case for medical semiology, which is the science of clinical examination. Technologies such as medical imaging, laboratory testing, and genomic data complement the clinical examination. In this context, new digital technologies have been revolutionizing daily medical practice over the past decade, particularly connected medical devices, artificial intelligence, and big data. In the light of this “digital revolution,” we thought it would be useful to summarize a few reflections on the subject.
