Summary, etc. In the transcultural field of research into motherhood in exile, this article looks at the creation, in PMI (Mother and Child Protection), of a discussion group for mothers from here and elsewhere and their babies. It highlights the benefits for women who become mothers during their migration, of basing the emergence of their maternal role on cultural mothering practices. As a result, the opportunity to build their own experiences, within the collective framework of sharing with a group of co-mothers, helps them to combat loneliness that makes them vulnerable and to blend the care given to their children thanks to the individual choices that will be made between the ways of doing things in the country of origin and the host country. This type of preventive approach makes it possible to accompany mothers and support parent-child interactions.
