| Summary, etc. | The meeting of Foucault and Lacan testifies to convergences and divergences around the categories of discourse and truth. What real divides them which defeats any ecumenical attempt: no “Foucaultlacanism” as there was “Freudomarxism”. The authors differ on their conception of discourse, the idea of real, and their projects: demonstrating the power effects of biopolitics, constructing the logic of the process of subjectification. Their mutual criticisms often stem from an incomprehension dictated by a singular relationship to reality from which their divergence concerning the truth arises. The author considers the confrontation based on the teaching of Lacan. And undoubtedly the debate could have rebounded around the formalization of the capitalist discourse which poses an unprecedented question: how to put capitalism outside of itself – a condition of resistance and struggle against the system? |

| Summary, etc. | La rencontre de Foucault et Lacan témoigne de convergences et divergences autour des catégories de discours et de vérité. Quel réel les divise qui met en échec toute tentative œcuménique : pas de « foucaultlacanisme » comme il y a eu « freudo-marxisme ». Les auteurs diffèrent sur leur conception du discours, l’idée même du réel, et leurs projets : démontrer les effets de pouvoir de la biopolitique, construire la logique du processus de subjectivation. Leurs critiques réciproques relèvent souvent d’une incompréhension dictée par un rapport singulier au réel d’où découle leur divergence concernant la vérité. L’auteur envisage la confrontation à partir de l’enseignement de Lacan. Et sans doute le débat aurait-il pu rebondir autour de la formalisation du discours capitaliste qui pose une question inédite : comment mettre le capitalisme hors de soi – condition de résistance et de lutte contre le système ? |
