| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | For the parent of a mentally disabled person, often suffering from a pre-object pathology, the disturbance in the transmission occurs at the point where, under the primacy of a striking visibility, the confrontation of the imaginary child with the unusual child of reality takes place. The body of the handicap generates in the parent, the analyst, the instituted group, a paradoxical effect of attraction/repulsion favourable to the deployment of unconscious fantasies by which each one creates his own mythology, staging his theory of origins. The subject himself reveals himself, whatever his degree of deficiency, in search of a knowledge giving meaning to his deficiency. In the institutional world, these fantasies and myths at work, shape the look of the welcomed and the caregiver through their transference-counter-transference projections waiting to be elaborated. Generated by the subject’s clinic encountered in our practice as analysts in medico-social institutions, we will list and question some of the fantasies of excess, born from the strangeness produced by the stigma of difference that shapes the intersubjective relationship. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
