| Summary, etc. | During the last years of his life, Michel Foucault described several contexts where a frank, ethical and thus “true” word is required. Designated under the Greek term parrhesia, this expression of truth was, since Antiquity, dependent on the existence of devices and mechanisms in which singular expression plays a central role: the Assembly of the citizens in Athens, the philosophical school and then the Christian institution are some examples. We compare this idea of the true word with the one that emerges from the Freudian and Lacanian approaches: how does truth allow itself to be defined in the analytical “device” they invented? This questioning is extended in two directions: the feminist expressions in the post-Metoo era (with the judgments that were expressed about them) and the place given to children in the judicial system. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
