| Summary, etc. | This article is based on the examination of a complex situation teaching system (ESC) based on the principles of cooperative learning (AC) during a teaching sequence of twelve sessions in speed swimming at middle school. This teaching approach meets the dual objective of inclusive education, that of promoting disciplinary acquisitions for both girls and boys and the development of attitudes supporting positive social relationships between different students. The effects of the device on the evolution of chronometric and motor performances on the one hand and cohesion scores on the other hand, were measured. Our results show that the ESC system promoted the success of students placed in a cooperation situation and in particular of girls compared to the results of students placed in individual work conditions. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article porte sur l’examen d’un dispositif d’Enseignement par situation complexe (ESC) basé sur les principes de l’Apprentissage coopératif (AC) durant une séquence d’enseignement de douze séances en natation de vitesse au collège. Cette démarche d’enseignement répond au double objectif de l’éducation inclusive, celui de favoriser pour les filles comme les garçons, les acquisitions disciplinaires et le développement d’attitudes soutenant des relations sociales positives entre élèves différents. Les effets du dispositif sur l’évolution des performances chronométriques et motrices, d’une part, et des scores de cohésion, d’autre part, ont été mesurés. Les résultats montrent que le dispositif d’ESC a favorisé la réussite des élèves placés en situation de coopération et en particulier des filles comparativement aux résultats des élèves placés en condition de travail individuel. |
