In this context, a new trend is emerging: “tracances” or “workations”, which combine remote work with leisure trips. This form of nomadic work illustrates a transformation in our relationship with time and space and is part of a broader trend toward organizational innovation. Teleworking, as a strategic lever for human resources, enhances the attractiveness of companies and requires new managerial practices. However, it raises major legal issues: working time, the right to disconnect, paid leave, workplace accidents, and tax and social security risks. Tracances, by blurring the boundaries between professional and personal life, amplify these risks. Tracances illustrate the tensions between the desire for flexibility and the need to protect the health and rights of employees. The article proposes regulatory options to frame these emerging practices: collective agreements, manager awareness, and technical tools. |

Dans ce contexte, émerge la tendance des tracances ou workation, combinant travail à distance et séjours de loisirs. Cette forme de travail nomade illustre une transformation des rapports au temps et à l’espace, et s’inscrit dans une logique d’innovation organisationnelle, enjeu de management des Ressources humaines. Le télétravail, en tant que levier stratégique pour les RH, renforce l’attractivité des entreprises et impose de nouvelles pratiques managériales. Toutefois, il soulève des risques RH majeurs : difficultés à déconnecter, surveillance excessive. Les tracances, en brouillant les frontières entre vie professionnelle et personnelle, amplifient ces risques. Les tracances illustrent les tensions entre aspiration à la flexibilité et nécessité de repenser le management à distance. L’article propose des pistes de régulation pour encadrer ces pratiques émergentes. |
