| Summary, etc. | At the start of the 2020s, craftsmanship can celebrate its centenary in France. The first occurrence of the word itself dates back to 1920. It was also during this period that representative craft institutions were established. In recent years, the business press has shown a keen interest in craftsmanship, devoting articles to it that highlight not only its dynamism, but also its strong appeal to young graduates who are shunning large companies. These articles also highlight the great adaptability of artisans in mastering new technologies, from 3D printing to artificial intelligence. While in the 19th century, craftsmanship was expected to disappear under the pressure of industrialization, not only does it continue to exist today, but it is constantly renewing itself. In this paper, our goal is to revisit the great capacity for adaptation to 21st century modernity over the long term, through constant renewal, and not only because it represents a new opportunity for job creation. |

| Summary, etc. | En ce début des années 2020, l’artisanat peut commémorer son centenaire en France. La première occurrence du mot lui-même date de 1920. C’est aussi au cours de cette période que des institutions artisanales représentatives voient le jour. Ces dernières années, la presse économique a manifesté un intérêt certain pour l’artisanat en y consacrant des articles, dans lesquels elle met non seulement l’accent sur le dynamisme de l’artisanat, mais également sur sa forte capacité d’attractivité pour de jeunes diplômés qui fuient la grande entreprise. Ces articles soulignent également la grande capacité d’adaptation des artisans dans la maitrise des nouvelles technologies, de l’imprimante 3D à l’intelligence artificielle. Alors qu’au 19e siècle, l’artisanat devait disparaitre sous la pression de l’industrialisation, non seulement il perdure aujourd’hui, mais se renouvelle sans cesse. Dans le cadre de cette communication, notre objectif est de revenir sur la grande capacité d’adaptation à la modernité du 21e siècle sur le temps long, en se renouvelant en permanence, et pas seulement parce qu’il constitue une nouvelle opportunité en matière de création d’emplois. |
