Elle s’est imposée au milieu d’un univers masculin et clérical où la présence de femmes n’allait pas de soi. Elle appartient à cette génération de femmes entrées discrètement dans le cercle étroit des études théologiques et bibliques. En cette fin de XXe siècle, le champ théologique se trouve confronté aux questions de genre.
