| Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to further investigate the skills of creative workers. Since 2014, we have indeed noted the Ministry of Culture's injunction to strengthen the professionalization of young creative workers. The development of entrepreneurial skills is the spearhead of this professionalization. This injunction is based on the premise that entrepreneurial skills could enhance the employability of creative workers and would be a means of tackling the high level of job insecurity. In this context, the aim of this article is to explore the degree of alignment between the expectations of cultural stakeholders in the arts, culture and creativity sector in terms of creative workers' skills, and the training programs offered by higher arts and creative education establishments. It provides a theoretical and conceptual framework as well as a research design to identify the expectations of the sector's cultural stakeholders in terms of competencies, to then identify the competencies in which higher education institutions' programs provide training, and to analyze the gap between these two categories of competencies. To achieve this, the empirical research is based on a single embedded case study: the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and its visual arts sector. The results confirm a trend towards the managerialization of the creative workers' profession, and the exercise of a variety of competencies throughout their professional careers. They also reveal a low degree of alignment between cultural stakeholders' expectations in terms of entrepreneurial skills and the training offered by higher arts and creative education establishments. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article a pour objectif d’approfondir la recherche sur les compétences des travailleurs créatifs. Depuis 2014, on note en effet l’injonction du ministère de la Culture au renforcement de la professionnalisation des jeunes créateurs. Le développement de compétences entrepreneuriales constitue le fer de lance de cette professionnalisation. Cette injonction repose sur le postulat que les compétences entrepreneuriales pourraient renforcer l’employabilité des travailleurs créatifs et serait un moyen de lutte contre la forte précarité de l’emploi. Dans ce contexte, cet article se propose d’explorer le degré de congruence entre les attentes des opérateurs culturels de la filière des arts, de la culture et de la créativité en termes de compétences des travailleurs créatifs et l’offre de formation dispensée par les établissements d’enseignement supérieur artistique et créatif. Il propose un cadre théorique et conceptuel ainsi qu’un design de recherche permettant d’identifier les attentes des opérateurs culturels de la filière en termes de compétences, d’identifier ensuite les compétences auxquelles forment les programmes des établissements d’enseignement supérieur et d’analyser le gap entre ces deux catégories de compétences. Pour ce faire, la recherche empirique repose sur une étude de cas unique enchâssée : la Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur et sa filière des arts visuels. Les résultats confirment une tendance à la managérialisation de la profession des travailleurs créatifs et à l’exercice d’une pluralité des compétences tout au long de leur carrière professionnelle. Ils révèlent également un faible degré de congruence entre les attentes des opérateurs de la filière en termes de compétences entrepreneuriales et l’offre de formation dispensée par les établissements d’enseignement supérieur artistique et créatif. |
