| Summary, etc. | This study aims to address the university social responsibility (USR) in France by examining disability policy for staff. The concept of an enabling environment is utilized, grounded in the capabilities approach. The aim is to understand how a French university fosters an enabling environment, on the one hand, to facilitate the disclosure of disability and, on the other hand, to promote participation in the institution’s disability policy. The present study employs a qualitative methodology, encompassing both primary and secondary data collection. A thematic content analysis is then conducted, utilising QDA Miner software. The results demonstrate the processes ranging from mobilizable resources to achievements. Some positive conversion factors are highlighted (e.g., the visibility of disability ambassadors), but also some negative ones (e.g., lack of time). It is evident that capabilities are observed, thereby strengthening the power of staff to take steps towards recognition as a disabled worker or to engage in the university’s disability policy (e.g., participation in DuoDay). |

| Summary, etc. | L’objectif de l’étude est d’aborder la responsabilité sociale des universités (RSU) à travers le prisme de la politique handicap à destination des personnels en France. La notion d’environnement capacitant est mobilisée en prenant appui sur l’approche par les capabilités. Il s’agit de comprendre comment une université française favorise un environnement capacitant d’une part, pour aborder et déclarer son handicap, et d’autre part pour prendre part à la politique handicap de l’établissement. En optant pour une méthodologie qualitative, des données primaires et des données secondaires sont recueillies. Une analyse de contenu thématique est réalisée, en utilisant le logiciel QDA Miner. Les résultats montrent les processus allant des ressources mobilisables jusqu’aux réalisations. Ils mettent en évidence des facteurs de conversion positifs (p. ex. visibilité des ambassadeurs handicap) et négatifs (p. ex. manque de temps). Des capabilités sont observées, renforçant ainsi le pouvoir d’agir des personnels pour entamer une démarche pour la reconnaissance en qualité de travailleur handicapé ou s’engager dans la politique handicap de l’université (p. ex. participation au DuoDay). |
