Summary, etc. During the Tunisian revolution, body was diversely used. It was an instrument of politicization and increasing media coverage, with immolations, hunger strikes and other physical sufferings. But body was also the center and main subject of many mobilizations. Many women, some describing themselves as feminist and some other not, claimed that their body was their own property: they denounced violences, in particular sexual ones; they claimed their right to get dressed and/or get naked according to their will. Based on the exploration of interviews and archives, the article analyzes the ways a mobilization against rape took place in Tunisia between 2012 and 2014. First, the article puts the spontaneousness of the mobilization in perspective, and in the same time shows the effects of the revolutionary movement, which allowed the emergence of a new generation of feminists. Secondly, the article shows that the strategy adopted by the actors of the mobilization, mainly the eldest ones, were ambiguous, and that women’s body remains the object of a battle between political parties.
