| Summary, etc. | This article focuses on men applying for asylum on the grounds of their sexual orientation or gender identity who are not accommodated in the reception scheme provided for this purpose and who have to compensate for the lack of accommodation and proper socio-administrative support. The strategies they use to make up for these shortcomings are described based on ethnographic research conducted in two associations supporting asylum seekers. These strategies are influenced by the diversity of administrative statuses, as well as the resources available to the individuals concerned. Ultimately, the article shows how economic, educational and socio-community dispositions affect the chances of obtaining refugee status for applicants who are not provided with accommodation. |

Las estrategias que utilizan estos solicitantes de asilo para compensar este déficit se describen desde una amplia investigación etnográfica en el seno de dos asociaciones que acompañan a los solicitantes del estatuto de refugiado. Estas estrategias están afectadas por la diversidad de estatutos administrativos dentro de esta población, así como la diversidad de recursos de que disponen los individuos. Este artículo muestra en detalle cómo las disposiciones económicas, escolares y socio-comunitarias tienen un impacto particular en las posibilidades de obtener el estatus de refugiado para los solicitantes que no benefician del alojamiento. |

Les stratégies qu’ils mobilisent pour compenser ce déficit sont décrites à partir d’une enquête ethnographique dans deux associations accompagnant des requérants au statut de réfugié.
