| Summary, etc. | Based on a contextualised case study, this article examines the heuristic value of the notion of migratory privilege. It compares the conditions under which two women from the elite in former French colonies develop and maintain a migratory advantage. Through an analysis that considers individual characteristics, opportunity structures and constraints, and relationship networks in a diachronic perspective, the article highlights the fragility and reversibility of migratory privilege. It encourages us to think of migratory privilege as both ideal and material, shaped by relational dynamics and evolving over time, in order to reintegrate the analysis of migration into a sociology of social stratification that pays attention to social relations of class, gender, and race. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. |
