Summary, etc. The “Maison du couple et de la famille” in Brest offers individuals interested in exploring their family history a group with a systemic therapeutic focus, aimed at identifying “burdensome” generational patterns, understanding their consequences, turning the page, and looking toward the future. Work on the “genogram” will be central to the entire therapeutic process. This approach makes it possible to identify both hidden and suppressed elements and to reclaim resources, strengths, and sources of resilience. This group work helps to break free from family debts and bring the ghosts of the past to light. It helps to regain inner freedom and lighten the legacy passed down to future generations. The aim is to provide participants with a supportive environment that facilitates a process of change and deep personal reflection. This group process has a lineage — it is an original extension of a prevention program initiated in Quebec by Line Caron, called “A Family Affair,” which we have carefully adapted and implemented for about eight years.
