Peu d’études ont été réalisées dans ce domaine chez l’enfant en âge préscolaire, alors qu’un grand nombre de vaccins sont administrés aux enfants dans leurs premières années. Cet article présente une étude de l’ajustement au stress de la vaccination de routine chez l’enfant de deux ans (N = 38). Les résultats montrent que l’ajustement de l’enfant dépend de trois types de facteurs : (i) le tempérament, (ii) l’information spécifique donnée par la mère avant l’examen médical, (iii) la gestion du stress relationnel par la mère. |

| Summary, etc. | Coping with immunization stress is a central question in pediatric psychology. In this domain, there are very few data about young children, whereas several immunizations are administered to children in their first years. This paper presents a study about coping with the stress of a routine immunization in toddlers (N = 38). Results show that coping is linked to three factors : (i) temperament, (ii) specific information given to the child by the mother before the medical exam, (iii) mother’s general coping tendencies in situations of relational conflict with her child. |
