| Summary, etc. | Introduction : Le dispositif d’annonce (DA) fait partie des mesures à mettre en place pour qu’un établissement soit « autorisé » pour le traitement du cancer. En Aquitaine, les professionnels de santé ont souhaité évaluer son organisation dans les établissements ainsi que la perception qu’en ont les patients, afin de mettre en place des actions pour améliorer sa structuration et sa traçabilité. Méthode : Démarche d’auto-évaluation fondée sur un schéma d’étude rétrospectif, se déclinant en trois étapes concomitantes : un audit organisationnel, un audit sur dossier-patient et une enquête d’expérience patient. Résultats : 29 établissements ont participé. Les organisations mises en place étaient hétérogènes, le déploiement du DA était avancé en termes de formation des professionnels, de formalisation de l’organisation et de ressources dédiées mais il restait une marge d’amélioration importante en termes de traçabilité, de coordination entre médecins et soignants, et d’orientation des patients vers les soins de support. Conclusion : Cette évaluation a permis une forte mobilisation des équipes hospitalières autour du DA en Aquitaine et la prise en compte du ressenti des patients. La dynamique régionale a permis des échanges entre établissements, facilitant la mise en place d’actions d’amélioration. |

| Summary, etc. | Introduction: An announcement procedure is mandatory to obtain accreditation to treat cancer patients. Health care professionals in the Aquitaine region evaluated the organization of this announcement procedure in their institutions and the patients’ perception, in order to initiate actions to improve the structure and traceability of this procedure. Method: Self-assessment approach based on a retrospective study plan comprising three concomitant steps : organizational audit, medical records audit and patient experience survey. Results: 29 institutions participated in the study. Heterogeneous organizations were observed, although progress had been made in the deployment of the announcement procedure in terms of personnel training, formal organization and the resources devoted to this procedure, but there remains considerable room for improvement in terms of traceability, coordination between doctors and nursing staff, and referral of patients to supportive care. Conclusion: This evaluation triggered active mobilization of hospital teams concerning the announcement procedure in the Aquitaine region and a better awareness of the patient’s perception. The regional dynamic allowed exchanges between institutions, facilitating the implementation of improvement actions. |
