| Summary, etc. | L’adolescent réputé difficile manifeste une hostilité à l’égard de ses aînés. Il semble apparemment désireux de les dominer. Or, une lecture métapsychologique montre qu’au fond le sujet s’efforce de s’appuyer sur le cadre qu’il essaie manifestement de briser. Il a inconsciemment besoin de s’assurer que les personnes ayant autorité sur lui peuvent l’aider à endiguer sa propre destructivité. Dans cet article, le cas d’une adolescente mettant à mal son cadre familial et thérapeutique témoigne de la fonction messagère de l’agressivité contre les adultes. La confrontation qui s’opère avec eux a une fonction structurante, nécessaire au déroulement du processus d’adolescence. Sans le savoir, le sujet interpelle l’autorité des adultes, dans ce qu’elle implique d’une différence générationnelle. Lorsqu’il s’attaque à ses aînés, l’adolescent leur demande inconsciemment de l’aider à se différencier d’eux. Il oblige son environnement à poser les limites externes qui font défaut à son fonctionnement interne. Symptomatiquement, les attaques du cadre questionnent aussi les spécificités actuelles de l’autorité et ses aléas. |

| Summary, etc. | A teen considered to be difficult shows hostility towards his/her elders. He/She apparently seems anxious to dominate them. Yet, a metapsychological interpretation demonstrates that he/she actually exerts to build on the framework he/she obviously tries to destroy. He/She unconsciously needs to ensure that the persons having authority upon him/her can help him/her to contain his/her own destructiveness. In this article, the case of a teenage girl undermining her family and therapeutic environment manifests the messenger function of aggressivity against adults. The confrontation taking place with them has a structuring function for the adolescence process cycle. Without knowing it, the individual questions the adult authority involving a difference of generations. When he/she attacks his/her elders, the teenager is unconsciously asking them to help him/her not to be like them. He/She obliges his/her environment to set the outer limits that are lacking in his/her inner way of being. Symptomatically, the attacks against the framework are also questioning the actual specificities of the authority, and its hazards. |
