| Summary, etc. | L’article s’interroge sur la place réservée à l’individualité, dont le motif est si fortement marqué dans les premiers travaux de Schleiermacher, dans le système abouti et notamment dans l’ Éthique. En premier lieu, c’est le rôle de la lecture de Spinoza qui est mis en avant, comme l’inspiration philosophique fondamentale du projet de Schleiermacher, y compris dans son Éthique. Mais l’adoption d’un cadre systématique après 1803, notamment avec la Dialectique après 1811, risque de minorer la place dévolue à l’individualité. C’est dans la conception originale de la temporalité que se trouve la clé de l’articulation entre la logique systématique de la différenciation fonctionnelle et la logique éthique de l’individualisation. |

| Summary, etc. | Schleiermacher’s Ethics of IndividualityThis article inquires the significance of the concept of individuality, the purpose of which is particularly stressed in the first writings of Schleiermacher, in the accomplished system and especially in Ethics. At first, it is the interpretation of Spinoza’s writings which is put forward as the fundamental philosophical inspiration in Schleiermacher’s project, including in Ethics. But the adoption of a systematic framework after 1803, especially in Dialectics after 1811, risks undermining the importance dedicated to individuality. It is in the original conception of time that lays the key connection between the systematic logic of functional differentiation and the ethical logic of individualisation. |
