Il met au jour les liens entre le contexte politique et social des années 1970 et les multiples médiations contingentes par lesquelles s’opère le glissement des conduites d’accommodement à la domination masculine vers sa remise en question discursive et pratique. |

| Summary, etc. | Agency in context: thoughts on the process of women’s emancipation in the 1970s in FranceUsing life stories of “ordinary” French women who were emancipated during the second half of the 20th century, this article analyses agency practices in daily life and depending on the gendered power dynamics at play. It highlights the connections between the political and social context of the 1970s and the numerous contingent mediations which support the transition from behaviour that tends to accommodate male domination to behaviour that calls it into question both in discursive and practical terms. |

Desvela los vínculos entre el contexto político y social de los años 1970 y las múltiples mediaciones contingentes por las cuales se opera el desplazamiento de las conductas de acomodamiento a la dominación masculina hacia su puesta en cuestión discursiva y práctica. |
