| Summary, etc. | L’ouverture d’un centre pour enfants avec troubles autistiques a obligé une équipe de professionnels ivoiriens à mettre en place de nouvelles modalités thérapeutiques. L’autisme et les soins mis en place ont induit une relation de soin empreinte d’affectivité, influencée par la culture africaine, ce qui s’entend dans la nomination du soignant. Nommé « tonton » ou « tata », cette appellation du soignant ouvre à la familiarité et à l’intimité en estompant la distance relationnelle inhérente aux soins. De fait, le soignant est placé ou se place en position parentale influencée par les étiquettes identitaires attribuées par les enfants. Doit-il réellement occuper cette place ? Les auteures questionnent aussi bien la distance relationnelle physique et psychique, le jeu relationnel et la triangulation qui se fabrique aux frontières de l’intimité. |
