| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article examine les principaux moments de l’histoire de l’Institut international des Sciences administratives depuis sa création en 1930. En outre, il fournit des informations relatives aux activités de la Commission permanente pour les Congrès internationaux en Sciences Administratives pendant la période qui va de 1910 à 1930. Plus précisément, l’article présente les principaux thèmes étudiés au sein des Congrès internationaux, Tables Rondes et Conférences organisés pendant cette période d’abord par la Commission permanente et ensuite par l’IISA. Une attention particulière est donnée à « l’internationalisation » de l’Institut après la seconde guerre mondiale. La vocation internationale de l’Institut est expliquée par la participation d’un nombre de plus en plus importants d’Etats membres et des Sections nationales de partout dans le monde aux activités de l’IISA ainsi que par le développement de la coopération avec les organisations internationales et supranationales. Enfin, les techniques et méthodes scientifiques de l’Institut sont présentées. |

| Summary, etc. | The International Institute of Administrative Sciences: main stages of its historyThe article reviews the major moments in the history of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences from the year of its establishment (1930) to the present. Additionally, it provides information on the 1910-30 period during which the Permanent Commission for International Congresses in Administrative Sciences operated. More specifically, the article presents the main themes addressed by the international congresses, round tables and conferences organized by the previously mentioned Commission in the beginning, and by the Institute after 1930. Attention is given to the Institute’internationalization’during the post Second World War period. The Institute’s international vocation was demonstrated by the participation of member states and national sections from all over the world, as well as by the development of cooperation with international and supranational organizations. Finally, the Institute Scientific methods and techniques during the 20th century are presented. |
