| Summary, etc. | This article is the result of a multidisciplinary commission that brought together caregivers with various training backgrounds: psychiatrists, nurses, general practitioners, and a regular member of UNAFAM (National Union of Friends and Families of the Mentally Ill). The topic addressed concerned working with the family in the context of hospitalization for a first psychotic episode. Psychiatric hospitalization often has a significant traumatic impact on the hospitalized patient, but also on the family. Many authors emphasized the importance of the alliance between the family and healthcare professionals. Difficulties persist in practice. The establishment of these exchanges contributes to the construction of a therapeutic alliance. The appendix contains draft recommendations for good practice on exchanges between families and hospital teams during hospitalization for a first psychotic episode. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article est issu d’un travail de commission pluridisciplinaire qui a rassemblé des soignants de formations diverses psychiatres, infirmiers, médecins généralistes, et un membre régulier de l’UNAFAM (Union Nationale des amis et familles de malades mentaux). Le thème abordé concernait le travail avec la famille dans le cadre de l’hospitalisation pour un premier épisode psychotique. L’hospitalisation psychiatrique a souvent un impact traumatique important pour le patient hospitalisé, mais aussi pour la famille. De très nombreux auteurs ont relevé l’importance de l’alliance de la famille avec les professionnels du soin. Des difficultés persistent dans la pratique. La mise en place de ces échanges participe à la construction d’une alliance thérapeutique. En annexe figure un projet de recommandations de bonnes pratiques sur les échanges familles-équipes hospitalières lors de l’hospitalisation pour un premier épisode psychotique. |
