| Summary, etc. | Cet essai a pour objet d’analyser les relations entre exégèse et philosophie en comparant les interprétations eckhartienne et albertienne du terme castellum dans la péricope de Marthe et Marie, tirée de l’ Évangile selon saint Luc (Lc 10, 38-42) : en particulier, dans le sermon allemand 2 de Maître Eckhart et dans le sermon latin XXXI ainsi que dans le commentaire Super Lucam (Lc 10, 38-42) d’Albert le Grand. Les enjeux de l’exégèse de ce passage sont, notamment, les suivants : une réflexion éthique sur la vie active et la vie contemplative, un questionnement anthropologique sur la femme, une interrogation théologique sur l’union au principe divin. Albert le Grand interprète castellum dans un sens apparemment fort différent de la théorie de l’âme humaine comme lieu de l’Un et du simple que propose Maître Eckhart. Cependant, l’hypothèse de cet essai est qu’Eckhart énonce de manière plus radicale et explicite les thèses que Maître Albert présente comme ses intuitions les plus personnelles. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of this essay is to analyse the relationship between exegesis and philosophy by comparing the Eckhartian and Albertian interpretations of the term castellum in the pericope of Martha and Mary, taken from the Gospel of Saint Luke (Lk 10, 38-42), in particular, in Meister Eckhart's German sermon 2 and his Latin sermon XXXI, as well as in Albert the Great's commentary Super Lucam (Lk 10, 38-42). The particular matters at stake in this passage's exegesis are as follows : an ethical reflection on the active life and the contemplative life, an anthropological inquiry into the status of woman, a theological questioning of union with the divine Principle. Albert the Great interprets castellum in a sense apparently very different from the theory of the human soul as the place of the One and the simple, as proposed by Meister Eckhart. However, the hypothesis of this essay is that Eckhart states in a more radical and explicit way the theses that Master Albert presents as his most personal intuitions. |
