| Summary, etc. | Les territoires de l’océan Pacifique sont à visages multiples : États souverains, pays et États associés ou collectivités non souveraines. Pour autant et malgré ces différences institutionnelles, la Polynésie française, la Nouvelle-Calédonie et Wallis-et-Futuna partagent un destin environnemental commun avec l’ensemble des autres territoires du fait des changements climatiques. Si les conséquences environnementales sont bien connues, il ne faut pas pour autant oublier les conséquences juridiques de ces bouleversements globaux qui pourraient porter atteinte aux territoires et aux espaces de ces États et collectivités et a fortiori provoquer leurs disparitions. |

| Summary, etc. | The Pacific Ocean territories have many faces: sovereign states, associated states/countries or non-sovereign territories. For all that and despite these institutional differences, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Wallis and Futuna possess a common environmental destiny with all the other territories because of climate change. While the environmental consequences are well known, we must not forget the legal consequences of this global crisis, which could harm these states and communities territories and eventually cause their disappearance. |
