| Summary, etc. | Au moment du passage à la retraite, on observe depuis de nombreuses années une mobilité qualifiée de mobilité de « confort ». Les spécificités de cette mobilité ont conduit les chercheurs à s’y intéresser. Depuis quelques années, des travaux menés notamment en France (Thalineau & Nowik, 2009) ont montré l’émergence d’une mobilité en milieu de retraite dont la principale motivation serait de se rapprocher de ses enfants ou de services, les auteurs parlant de « mobilité d’ajustement ». Cet article analyse la situation de la Belgique. Il vérifie l’existence d’une mobilité d’ajustement en Belgique et tente d’en esquisser les contours en analysant notamment l’impact de la réalisation d’une mobilité de confort, lors du passage à la retraite, sur la probabilité d’être mobile en milieu de retraite. |

| Summary, etc. | The specificities of “comfort-based” residential mobility in retirement, a phenomenon observed for a number of years now, have attracted the interest of researchers. Studies carried out in France (Thalineau and Nowik, 2009) have demonstrated the emergence of a form of residential mobility informed primarily by the desire of retirees to be close to their children or to services, referred to as “adjustment-based mobility”. This article analyses the situation in Belgium, verifying the existence of adjustment-based mobility in the country and assessing its forms through an analysis of the impact of comfort-based mobility on the probability of being mobile in retirement. |
