| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’approche clinique du travail policier et de son cadre institutionnel met ici l’accent sur l’analyse des idéologies défensives de métier comme « réponse » à l’épreuve de réalité que représente toute activité professionnelle, mais aussi comme réponse à l’imaginaire social en ce qu’il contribue à orienter l’image de la profession.Les processus psychosociaux sollicités par le port de l’uniforme, et notamment la problématique uniformisation-différenciation, contribuent à la construction d’un esprit de corps étayé sur l’enveloppe groupale et producteur d’un discours réactionnel à la suspicion qui pèse sur cet appareil d’Etat. Les concepts de stratégies défensives collectives de la psychodynamique du travail sont ici mis en perspective avec ceux d’enveloppes psychiques et d’idéologie de la psychologie sociale clinique. |

| Summary, etc. | The clinical approach to police work and its institutional framework here highlights the analysis of professional defensive ideologies as a “response” to the reality test that all professional activity represents, but also as a response to the social imagination in that it helps to direct the image of the profession.The psychosocial processes that are solicited by the wearing of a uniform, and in particular the uniformisation-differentiation issue, contribute to the construction of an esprit de corps based on the group envelope and producing a discourse as a reaction to the suspicion which weighs on this state body. The concepts of collective defensive strategies of the psychodynamics of work are here put into perspective with those of the psychological envelopes and the ideology of clinical social psychology. |
