Illustrée par l'exemple de la région Franche-Comté (1 100 000 habitants), cette contribution vise à spatialiser le cycle de vie de cette discipline sportive (introduction sur le territoire, croissance puis saturation). Les recherches, résolument géographiques, placent ainsi le football dans sa dimension territoriale. |

Illustrated by the example of Franche-Comté country (1 100 000 people), this contribution attempts to mapped cycle of life of that sport (introduction in the area, development and saturation). Researches, resolutely geographical, placed so football in its territorial dimension. |

Ilustrada por el ejemplo de la región Franche-Comté (1 100 000 habitantes), esta contribución busca especializar el ciclo de vida de esta disciplina deportiva. | Summary, etc. | ZUSAMMENFASSUNG Das Ziel dieses Artikels ist es, aus der Perspektive der Geographie zu zeigen, wie der Fußball, eine zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts wenig entwickelte sportliche Aktivität, zum einem bedeutenden Element im Alltag der Menschen geworden ist. Am Beispiel der Region Franche-Comté (1 100 000 Einwohner) will dieser Beitrag den Lebenszyklus dieser Sportart räumlich darstellen (Einführung in der Gegend, Wachstum und dann Sättigung). Die geographischen Untersuchungen platzieren so den Fußball in seine territoriale Dimension. |
