| Summary, etc. | Enfance et dictature s’inscrit dans une recherche artistique sur la mémoire qui interroge sa valeur d’objectivité à travers ses mouvances temporelles, les surimpressions des souvenirs, les constructions personnelles et historiques dont elle est la dépositaire, et l’histoire qui peut s’écrire au fil des images. Ce projet aborde la question de savoir comment l’enfance de l’auteur a pu être vécue comme une période heureuse, alors qu’il habitait Buenos Aires à proximité d’un centre clandestin de détention et d’une base militaire, et procède à une relecture de cette période de vie qui a aussi été le moment le plus obscur de l’histoire du pays. |

| Summary, etc. | Enfance et dictature is part of an artistic research on memory that questions its objectivity through its temporal movements, the superimpositions of memories, the personal and historical constructions of which it is the repository, and the history that can be written in the course of the images. This project addresses the question of how the author’s childhood could have been experienced as a happy period, when he lived in Buenos Aires near a clandestine detention centre and a military base. It proceeds to a rereading of this period of life, which was also the most obscure moment in the country’s history. |
