| Summary, etc. | La Visitation est une fête liturgique en l’honneur de la Vierge Marie adoptée définitivement dans l’Occident chrétien à la fin du Moyen Âge. Cependant, les diocèses la reçoivent à des rythmes différents en fonction de leurs choix d’organisation du culte divin. Nous proposons dans cet article d’examiner la réception d’une fête liturgique, la Visitation, dans deux provinces ecclésiastiques : l’une française, Rouen, et l’autre suédoise, Uppsala. Prenant pour témoins les imprimés liturgiques, nous montrerons après avoir fait un état des lieux de la documentation disponible les enjeux spirituels posés par l’adoption d’une nouvelle fête à l’échelle diocésaine. |

| Summary, etc. | The Visitation of the Virgin Mary is a liturgical feast definitively instituted in Western Christianity at the end of the Middle Ages. However, dioceses received the feast on a different rythm, according to their own choices regarding the divine worship. In this article, we would like to examine the reception of a liturgical feast, the Visitation, in two ecclesiastical provinces : one French, Rouen, and the other Swedish, Uppsala. Basing our study on liturgical printed books, we would like to show, after a panorama of the available source material, which spiritual issues emerge when a new feast is institued on a local, i.e diocesian, level. |
