| Summary, etc. | Le Bréviaire d’Alaric, plus connu sous le nom de Lex Romana Visigothorum, est un texte juridique en vigueur dans l’espace wisigothique dès 507. Mais à la fin du haut Moyen Âge, il est utilisé dans la totalité de l’espace franc comme un outil pédagogique nécessaire à la connaissance et l’apprentissage du droit. C’est au ixe siècle que l’abbaye de Deux-Jumeaux dans le diocèse de Bayeux en a produit un exemplaire accompagné de diverses petites gloses, resté peu connu et étudié. Il s’agit là d’un travail minutieux de commentaire et d’analyse du droit qui invite à se poser la question de l’existence de protoglossateurs dans la future Normandie du haut Moyen Âge. |

| Summary, etc. | The Breviary of Alaric, better known as the Lex Romana Visigothorum, is a legal text in effect in the Visigothic territory from the year 507. But at the end of the Eary Middle Ages, it is used throughout the Frank region as an educational tool necessary for the knowledge and learning of law. In the 9th century the Abbey of Deux-Jumeaux in the diocese of Bayeux produced a copy accompanied by various little glosses; it has remained little known and studied. This is a meticulous work of commentary and analysis of the law that invites us to ask the question of the existence of proto-glossators in the future Normandy of the Early Middle Ages. |
