| Summary, etc. | Si Évrecy a retenu l’attention des historiens médiévistes jusqu’ici, c’est essentiellement pour le haut Moyen Âge. La période suivante n’a fait l’objet que de peu d’études. Pourtant, les actes de la pratique conservés aux Archives départementales du Calvados apportent de précieuses informations sur les xie- xiiie siècles. C’est ainsi qu’après avoir rappelé la position d’Évrecy au sein du duché de Normandie, entre évêques de Bayeux et comtes de Gloucester, le présent article s’intéresse à l’émergence progressive d’un lignage dit d’Évrecy à compter du xie siècle. Il s’agit plus particulièrement d’envisager le parcours des membres de cette topolignée en termes de mobilité sociale et d’étudier les stratégies mises en œuvre pour affirmer leur conscience élitaire et leur appartenance à l’aristocratie. |

| Summary, etc. | If Evrecy has attracted the attention of medieval historians so far, it is essentially for the Early Middle Ages. The following period has been the subject of fewer studies. However, charters preserved in the Archives Départementales du Calvados provide valuable information on the 11th and 13th centuries. Thus, after recalling the position of Evrecy within the Duchy of Normandy, between the bishops of Bayeux and the counts of Gloucester, this article focuses on the gradual emergence of a lineage known as Evrecy, from the 11th century. More specifically, it considers the paths of the members of this “topolineage” in terms of social mobility and study the strategies implemented to claim their elite conscience and their affiliation to the aristocracy. |
