| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | Crualty and clinicThe new hospital governance may tend to disqualify psychiatry and essentially its hospital dimension. Does it not aim at dissolving our discipline through the concept of mental health, a branch of public health ? Nowadays, it would seem that what is at stake is less the quality of care than the reduction of the patient to his brain and rights, a reduction entailed by the instrumentalization induced by the progress of neurosciences. Thus we should change our practice without taking into account the necessity of sparing time for the cure or the complexity of a psycho-social neo-clinic. |
