| Summary, etc. |
| 520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
| Summary, etc. | The real body of the speaking being (“parlêtre”) is now constantly being transformed by the addition of new organs which become its extensions : prosthesis, technical devices, semblances of the object a, “lathouses” (Lacan). The org components of the body are being taken over by the cyb parts in the cyborgs that we are becoming in a process of permanent acceleration. What do these changes imply for the experience of love and for the experience of psychoanalysis which has love as its fundamental lever, given the fact that “love is a cultural fact” (Lacan, Seminar x) ? Is the work of love related to the work of art (tekhné) with its aura as we gather from the well-known article written by Walter Benjamin ? The underlying presupposition is that the loving couple changes because of the “mechanical reproductibility” and “clonation” of the technical organs of language linking both subjects with each other. At least it is a hypothesis deserving to be discussed. |
