Les A. reconnaissent les Cécropides dans les métopes nos 13-14, Érechthée et son adversaire dans les nos 15-16, les Pandionides dans les nos 19-20. Pour eux, la métope no 17 ne peut représenter que Borée enlevant Oreithyie. Nombreux parallèles avec les œuvres sculptées contemporaines ou proches du Parthénon par leur date, détour par la peinture des vases et référence constante aux sources antiques. |
