| Summary, etc. | Parmi les mouvements familiaux les plus actifs durant les années 1935-1950, la Ligue ouvrière chrétienne puis et surtout le Mouvement populaire des familles (MPF), tous les deux issus de la JOC et inspirés par elle, s’inscrivent bien dans le mouvement d’éducation populaire par leurs intentions et plus encore par leurs pratiques de formation. Outre le projet chrétien, encore très présent à l’origine, leur originalité est certainement d’avoir concerné un public ouvrier en plus grand nombre que les mouvements de même nature qui prétendaient le toucher sans jamais avoir vraiment de prise sur lui. Les riches innovations institutionnelles des années 1940 et 1950 ont enfin préparé la formation permanente des années 1970. L’article relate ces développements et en analyse la portée. |

| Summary, etc. | Among the family movements most active during the years 1935-1950, the Christian Workers League and especially the Popular Movement of Families (MPF), both from the Christian Working Youth (JOC) and inspired by it, fit in well with the movement of popular education in their (intentions and even more by their practical trainings. In addition to the Christian project, still very present at the origin, their originality is certainly related to a public of workers in greater number than similar movements claiming to touch the working class. The rich institutional innovations of the 1940s and 1950s have also prepared the training programs of the 1970s. The article describes and analyses these developments. |
