Cette contribution s’intéresse à la dernière étape de cette accession à l’indépendance, qui s’ouvre en mai 1945 sur une grave crise franco-britannique et s’achève le 17 avril 1946 par le départ des dernières troupes étrangères du territoire syrien. |

This article retraces the last step of this accession to independence, which began in May 1945 with an important Anglo-French crisis and ended on the 17th of April 1946 with the departure of the last foreign troops from the Syrian territory. |
